Safe Kids Day New York

On Saturday, April 12 hundreds of families and kids of all ages swept through the Highline Stages in New York for Safe Kids Day – a day to celebrate kids, prevent injuries and save lives.

The fun family event featured several celebrity guests who helped raise awareness to protect kids from preventable injuries, the number one killer of kids in the U.S., including former NBA star Felipe Lopez, Nigel Barker, Alysia Reiner and David Basche, Genevieve Gorder, and Nick Stevenson, who brought their families to enjoy the festivities and learn little things they can do to help keep kids safe.

Thanks to our supporters, including presenting sponsor Children’s Tylenol, with support from the General Motors Foundation, FedEx and Chevrolet, the 2014 Safe Kids Day campaign has raised more than $900,000 to help keep kids safe from preventable injuries.
