Car Seat Study

Parents, do you want to help make car seats easier to install, get your car seat installed correctly, and receive $100 for your time?

Safe Kids is looking for parents and primary caregivers to take part in a research study to test the effectiveness of a new car seat installation app. Qualifying participants will answer a few basic survey questions and then work with an expert child passenger safety technician to learn how to properly use and install a car seat.

You will have the option of scheduling an expert to meet you at your home, office, school, or any other community location. The initial appointment lasts about one hour, and a second shorter follow up visit will be scheduled four months later.

The study is open to residents of Walker County, AL; Burlington, VT; Mecklenburg County, NC; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Cowlitz County, WA and nearby areas. You will receive $50 at each visit.
