April 29, 2021 CPSC; Modernist Pantry recalled its Sodium Hydroxide products because their packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a risk of chemical burns and irritation to the skin and eyes. The product labels also omit mandatory information required by the Federal Hazardous Substance Act. Units: About 330.

April 28, 2021 CPSC; Sauder Woodworking recalled its Sauder and Aliesha-May Counter-Height Bar Stools because their legs can become unstable over time, posing a fall hazard. Units: About 3,100.

April 22, 2021 CPSC; YYBA recalled its Welmate Lidocaine Numbing Cream because its packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a poisoning risk to young children. Units: About 15,000.

April 21, 2021 CPSC; Metal Ware recalled its NESCO Coffee Bean Roasters because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Units: About 5,350.

April 21, 2021 CPSC; Brompton Bicycle recalled its Electric Folding Bicycles because a software malfunction can cause the electric system to continue forward momentum when the rider is not pedaling, posing fall and injury hazards. Units: About 600.

April 21, 2021 CPSC; BRAV USA recalled its Youth Jackets with Drawstrings because their drawstrings can become entangled or caught in moving objects, posing a strangulation and/or entrapment hazard to children. Units: About 156.

April 14, 2021 CPSC; Playgro recalled its Infant Activity Rattles because the abacus ring on the horse's back can dislodge and release small beads, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 18,000.

April 14, 2021 CPSC; Target recalled its Cat & Jack Rompers because the romper's heart-shaped graphics can peel off or detach, posing a choking hazard to children. Units: About 44,350.

April 14, 2021 CPSC; Audio-Technica recalled its Charging Cases sold with Audio-Technica Wireless Headphones Model ATH-CK3TW because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Units: About 7,450.

April 14, 2021 CPSC; Battat recalled its B.Toys Firefly Frank Infant Teethers because their plastic wings can detach from the teether, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 61,000 (an additional 210 sold in Canada).

April 8, 2021 CPSC; Verizon recalled its Ellipsis Jetpack mobile hotspots because their lithium ion batteries can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. Units: About 2.5 million.

April 8, 2021 CPSC; GEO Essential recalled its Wintergreen Organic Essential Oil and Alleviate Organic Essential Oil Blend because their packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a risk of poisoning to young children. Units: About 220.

April 7, 2021 CPSC; Epicure recalled its Glass Prep Bowls because they can break or shatter during use, posing a laceration hazard. Units: About 1,600 (an additional 5,250 sold in Canada).

April 7, 2021 CPSC; RH recalled its Animal, Heathered Plush and Luxe Sherpa Children’s Bath Wraps because they fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 55,000 (an additional 3,900 units sold in Canada).

April 1, 2021 CPSC; BATTOP recalled its Foldable Infant Bath Seats because they fail to meet the federal safety standard for infant bath seats and can tip over while in use, posing a drowning hazard to babies. Units: About 5,000.

April 1, 2021 CPSC; dōTERRA recalled its Deep Blue, PastTense and Deep Blue Touch Essential Oils because their packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a poisoning risk to young children. Units: About 1.3 million.
