09.30.2014 CPSC: Trimfoot is voluntarily recalling First Impressions high-top, soft-soled sneakers for infants that are crawling or standing because a small metal eyelet can detach from the inside, causing a choking risk. Units: 5300. Sold nationwide.

09.27.2014 USDA: Delicious Beef Jerky is voluntarily recalling beef jerky products because they were marked and shipped without inspection. Units: 8 pounds. Sold in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

09.26.2014 FDA: Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling “Plain Streusel Coffeecake” due to undeclared pecans, a potential allergen.  Sold in Bedford, Massachusetts.

09.26.2014 FDA: Dominguez Foods Washington is voluntarily recalling “SU COCINA” PAN MOLIDO because it contains undeclared wheat, whey (milk), and soy. Sold in Washington and Oregon.

09.25.2014 USDA: Caviness Beef Packers is voluntarily recalling Beef Trimmings products due to possible E. coli contamination, which can cause dangerous infections and kidney failure in young children. Units: 23,100 pounds. Sold in Texas.

09.25.2014 USDA: Foster Farms is voluntarily recalling frozen pre-cooked chicken due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Units: 39,747 pounds. Sold in California, Texas, Utah, and Washington state.

09.22.2014 FDA: Glaser Organic Farms is voluntarily recalling Organic Carob Powder due to potential Salmonella contamination. Sold in Florida

09.18.2014 CPSC: Siemens is voluntarily recalling Audible Fire Alarm Base because the base can fail to sound an alarm, increasing risk of injury to residents in the event of a fire. Units: about 9,000. Sold nationwide.

09.16.2014 FDA: S&S Food Import corp. is voluntarily recalling Uneviscerated Dried Roach (Vobla) due to potential contamination from Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause botulism. Distributed nationwide.

09.15.2014 FDA: Gel Spice Company is voluntarily recalling Fresh Finds Ground Black Pepper due to possible Salmonella contamination. Units: 16,4432. Sold nationwide.

09.12.2014 USDA: Jerky By Art is voluntarily recalling beef jerky products because they were produced without inspection. In addition, the beef jerky products contain wheat and anchovies, allergens that are not declared on the product label.

09.12.2014 USDA: Interbay Food Company is voluntarily recalling pork Banger-style sausage products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen, milk. Units: 4,800 pounds

09.06.2014 USDA: Perdue Food is voluntarily recalling approximately 720 pounds of raw, fresh chicken products because of a processing deviation in temperature during production.
